The Natural Beauty of Falls Church
Hiking in Falls Church VA is quite the special treat. Have you ever been to a rustic town with one of those covered little bridges out in the middle of nowhere? It's kind of like a Stand By Me moment, and this along with many other unique things to do awaits you when you visit the historic town of West Church Falls. You will see what I'm talking about in just a minute.
Let's lead off with the bridge moment I was referring to in the previous paragraph. It is just a single part of what is called The Capital Crescent Trail, which by the way is 11 miles long. It is great for hiking or biking, and it is just an all around fun time for those that enjoy nature. So, are you ready to hit Capital Crescent Trail? Let's look at a few other places of interest first.

Eakin Community Park is another spot to visit. The picture shown for this attraction shows what appears to be a walking trail that leads into the forest. Let me just say that it looks like a path that would find you turning around to see Michael Myers trailing right behind you. I say that as a joke because it looks very excluded and actually quite interesting. Just don't go venture out into the woods alone.
Enjoy the Outdoors
You have to appreciate nature and exclusivity to enjoy my humor about the last place of interest. Now, how would you like to visit a rose garden? Rose gardens are so beautiful. One of my former client friends who ran the site I work for tends to a rose garden and is big into growing them. Bon Air Park is the place, and you have to take a look at the available images before you pay it a visit. They look absolutely lovely!
Then there is Fox Stone Park, Lincoln Park and others. Some of the things to do are a little out of the way, and some of them might also be technically in other areas besides West Church Falls. It's not like the town is New York City, so coming and going is a hop, skip and a jump. Still, everything you would want to do is close by, and there are some rather cool neighboring towns and cities as well.
There are historic sites to see like Cherry Hill Farmhouse, plenty of restaurants, a bowling alley, room escape games and more. You will have such a great time there, and you will come back with plenty of stories. You will have fun entertainment wise, but what you will remember the most is all of those attractions dealing with nature, as they are very unique. Remember the covered bridge described earlier? That is the first thing I would want to see, and I would want a picture of everyone I was with in front of the bridge. You can have your Stand By Me moment, too, if you take the time to visit West Falls Church, Virginia.
